Briefly talk about the issues encountered recently with ClawCloud Run (not like, why are you so slow?)

Let me briefly introduce ClawCloud Run. This thing is a lightweight application platform similar to Vercel and Netlify, allowing for quick deployment of various projects. Users receive a $5 credit upon registration, and by linking a GitHub account for 180 days, they can enjoy a monthly credit of $5. This $5 credit can be endlessly renewed for some small projects, which is quite useful.

This platform is basically ready to use out of the box; you can complete application deployment with just a few clicks, which is very convenient. For specific deployment details, you can refer to this expert's video 【Free Container Deployment Platform, Mastering AI Clients, Workflows, Alist, Databases...】

Problems I Encountered#

  1. The Japan and Singapore nodes were incredibly slow, but they are relatively better now. There was even a situation where deployed projects suddenly disappeared (they vanished from the dashboard but were still accessible). I initially wanted to deploy on the Japan and Singapore nodes, as they should perform relatively better domestically compared to the US and Germany. But the result was that they were incredibly slow...

  1. The issuance of SSL certificates for custom domains was also incredibly slow... If you see this thing stuck on Pending, please don't worry; this is normal. After a while (maybe a day or two), it will be deployed. While in Pending, the website's port 80 (http) is accessible, but port 443 (https) is not.

2.5. When I hadn't received the SSL certificate, I turned on the Cloudflare proxy (the little yellow cloud). At this point, the Pending status would change to Available, but guess what, this thing is fake. I thought it was finally signed, but when I tried to access it, I got a 525 error... If you really want to use the Cloudflare proxy, you also need to wait for the SSL certificate to be issued, or change the encryption mode in Cloudflare to Flexible, allowing Cloudflare to access the origin server via port 80.

  1. Incredibly slow... This thing, whether I have the Cloudflare little yellow cloud on or off, accessing the website is absurdly slow. In most cases, if the proxy is off, it is basically unusable. Just a few days ago, I got EdgeOne for free, and I applied EdgeOne's CDN to this website. Overall, it is finally at an acceptable level now.

How should I put it? From the original loading time of 3 minutes to now 10 seconds... I can only say that EdgeOne is quite useful.
